Oct 22, 2012 - 06:36 PM

Mail-in ballots for the Nov. 6, general election are available now from the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office.

Permanent mail-in ballots and those voters who reside in mailed ballot precincts can expect to receive their ballots within a week to 10 days.

The last day to request a mail-in ballot is Tuesday, Oct. 30. For situations after Oct. 30, applications for mail-in ballots can be made in person up to and including the day of the election at the Registrar of Voters Office, 435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa.

Voters returning their mail-in ballots should mail them back no later than Wednesday, Oct. 31. Voters can also return mail-in ballots to any polling place on election day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
