Lobsters for sale

The Soroptimist International of Sonoma Valley will have live and cooked Maine lobsters at the Sonoma Chamber of Commerce front lawn, 651 Broadway Street, on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Advance orders are necessary and must be received by Oct. 18. 

  The lobsters approximately weigh 1.25-pounds and sell for $25 each. Place an order by calling 939-2661.

  The lobsters will be flown into San Francisco from Maine on the morning of Oct. 20, and will be transported to Sonoma, where it can be picked up live or cooked. 

Proceeds from the sales are used to support Soroptimist local projects, which include six educational scholarships to graduating seniors from Sonoma Valley High School and donations to area nonprofits.
