On the heels of completing a tough and challenging preseason schedule, which recently ended with a 1-2 record in last week’s annual Cactus Jam tournament in Arizona, Sonoma Valley High School’s varsity basketball girls will now begin their Sonoma County League title quest.
The Lady Dragons open their SCL campaign in Forestville tomorrow night, Saturday, Jan. 5, where they’ll face El Molino, and will remain on the road for games in Santa Rosa against new league schools Piner and Elsie Allen this Tuesday and Thursday, Jan. 8 and 10, respectively.
Sonoma’s SCL home opener is Tuesday, Jan. 15, when they host longtime rival Healdsburg in Pfeiffer Gym.
