Lady Dragon spikers, netters power to pair of SCL wins

It was a victorious Sonoma County League Tuesday for the Sonoma Valley High School girls’ tennis and first-place-tied varsity volleyball teams, who turned in dominating home and road performances, respectively.
The tennis Lady Dragons swept all their singles matches en route to beating SCL foe Healdsburg 6-1 yesterday afternoon match at the high school courts.
Last night in Santa Rosa, the defending co-champion Sonoma volleyball girls swept past Piner 25-11, 25-16, 25-17 for their SCL match win.
The Lady Dragon spikers wll host Elsie Allen in their regular-season home finale at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 18, in Pfeiffer Gym, with Sonoma honoring its two seniors, Allyson Beckwith and Alexis Long-Am, before the match.
