Kudos to SIFF for showcasing Sonoma

As a local resident and business owner, I want to thank the Sonoma International Film Festival for having Sonoma be the home to an amazing event. It was truly an inspiring weekend for the entire community and congratulations are in order for your 15th anniversary.

Within your festival, I greatly appreciate how you include nonprofit venues; host designated drivers for all your guests; utilize community nonprofit volunteers as partners; provide a future for the Sonoma Valley High School Media Arts program, for youth who are interested in film; and support local businesses by directing guests to dine and shop in Sonoma.

Your festival creates a platform for film culture and invites people to travel to Sonoma to enjoy our community, while introducing guests to the locally-produced food,

wine, spirits, beers and producers.
Thank you again to Kevin and Rosemary McNeely, the staff, board of directors and volunteers of the Sonoma International Film Festival. You have really broadened the appeal of Sonoma, as we have become a destination for the festival, and I think the guests will return on an annual basis, if not more.
