JoAnne Eames Stewart

JoAnne Eames Stewart, 78, of Alta, Wyo., passed away April 30, 2012, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

  JoAnne was born July 4, 1933, in Menan, Idaho, to Adrian Lionel Eames and Awilda Nichols Eames. She grew up and attended school in Menan, then graduated from Rigby High School.

  On June 5, 1960, she married Peter Donald Stewart in Lake Tahoe, Nev. They made their home in Sonoma, where they raised three children, Dirk, Paul and Pilar. She worked part-time as an agricultural inspector for the State of California. JoAnne was a wife, mother and homemaker. After 25 years, they moved to Alta, Wyo.

  JoAnne enjoyed sewing, puzzles, gardening, reading and painting.
