Jewish singer to perform
Congregation Shir Shalom is hosting a night of revelry and music on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Vintage House senior center.
During the evening, acclaimed Jewish blues singer Saul Kaye will perform. He is known for adapting Biblical tales, prayers and Jewish chants into a funky Delta blues idiom.
The congregation’s own Rabbi Bella Bogart will open for Kaye during the night of music.
