Jeanette McEntire

  Jeanette McEntire, 80, of Sonoma, died Dec. 17, 2012, in Sonoma.

  Jeanette (Jan) was born in San Bruno on May 12,1932. She has been a resident of Sonoma County since 1966 and a resident of Sonoma for more than 20 years.

  Jan loved the theater, art, gardening and jazz music. She worked for the last several years at Becoming Independent, teaching art to clients she dearly loved.
  After retirement, she enjoyed painting and traveling. Jan had a wide circle of friends and was well loved in her community. She was quick to laugh, loved life, loved parties and was always there to help others in need. Jan passed away on Dec. 17, in her home with family present, after a long battle with breast cancer.

  She is survived by her beloved daughters, Linda Lazazzera and Susan Sweet; and granddaughters, Marissa McCullom and Sierra Sweet. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and brother. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
