James Rolston Martin Sr.

  James Rolston Martin Sr., a long time resident of Sonoma. passed away Sept. 30, 2012. He was born on May 29, 1929.

  He is preceded in death by his parents and five siblings; two sons, Marty and Timothy; two grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter.

  He was born in Evansville, Ind., and moved to Sonoma, on March 30, 1960.

  He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, of 62 years; his sons, James, Franklin, Michael, Mark and Robert; and daughters Joy and Jeanne; 30 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

  Duggan’s Mission Chapel will be in charge of services.
