James (Jimmy) Brian Ismond

James (Jimmy) Brian Ismond was born Dec. 9, 1954, in Walla Walla, Wash.
  He moved to California in 1969, and served in the Air Force, stationed in Germany. Jimmy graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College with an AA degree and was licensed as a psychiatric technician in 1980, at the same time he met his wife, Lisa, and began their family.
  His interests included riding motorcycles, fishing and was the lighting director for Sonoma Vintage Theatre, but his true passion was playing guitar. Jim retired from Napa State Hospital after working for 30 years.
  Jimmy passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 18, 2012, surrounded by his family and loved ones after heroically “surviving” cancer for three years. He was inspirational to all of us.
  He is survived by his children who meant the world to him, Myranda Ismond (Todd Summers), Rachel (Julio) Pizano and Brian Ismond (Yoani Guerrero); his grandchildren, Shelby, Connor, Jadon, Logan and Sophia; his mother Barbara Ismond; sister, Cindy Budolfson and best friend, Lisa Coleman.
At his request, a private service will be held and donations may be made to Hospice By The Bay.
