Ida G. Collins, born on Nov. 3, 1919, passed away on Nov. 11, 2012, with her children at her side. She died after a short illness.
Ida worked for the Sonoma Developmental Center for 34 years. She leaves behind four sons and their wives, Lee Schmidt and Sonja, George Schmidt and Fay, Dick Schmidt and Viv, Randy Collins and Edie; two daughters, Edna Morgan and Dan, Sue Stone and Jerry; as well as leaving behind 19 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Collins; one son, Don Schmidt, and one daughter, Gladys Scott.
No formal services will be held. Private inurnment in the family plot at Valley Cemetery, Sonoma, will be held.
