Howling good time to benefit Altimira
THE CORK PULLERS will be pulling out all the stops to support Altimira Middle School’s “Howl” fundraiser on Saturday, Nov. 3.
Altimira Middle School is hosting its third annual “The Howl” fundraiser, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Moose Lodge in Sonoma from 5:30 p.m. to midnight.
The event is designed for the whole community, and includes a night of dinner and dancing to benefit Altimira Middle School. Attendees can spend the night tasting appetizers, taking part in the raffle or silent auction, feasting on a buffet dinner and dancing into the night.
Dinner will be prepared by chef Roget DeClerq with a menu of beef stew over polenta along with bread, salad, appetizers and dessert (a vegetarian option is available upon request). Dancing starts at 8 p.m. with live music from the Cork Pullers and DJ “Bubba.” Tickets can be purchased in advance in the Altimira school office (names will be placed on the “will call” list) for $35 each. “After Dinner” tickets, which include dancing and other festivities after the music starts at 8 p.m., are available for $15. For tickets or more information contact Mark Curtis at 287-7683 or email MCGoFish@gmail.com.
Donations of cash or prizes for the raffle and silent auction are still being accepted. For donations contact Joanna Greenslade at 933-0341 or email joannagreenslade@yahoo.com.
