Hot Box Grill comes to the community center
The Sonoma Community Center is busy working out the details of its next Community Table culinary event.
On Saturday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m., SCC will host a three-course dinner by Norman Owens, chef and owner of the Hot Box Grill.
The menu will include a roasted beet salad with goat cheese mousse, pistachios and mint pesto. The second course will feature slow-cooked boneless short ribs, vegetables from Paul’s Produce served with preserved Meyer lemons, whipped potatoes and horseradish crème fraiche. Wines by Auteur Winery will be served.
The dinner is third in a series of Community Table events scheduled this year.
The center’s Community Table program invites local chefs to come and prepare an intimate meal of seasonal cuisine in the community center's Rotary Community Kitchen.
Tickets are $55.
To reserve your seat, drop by the Sonoma Community Center office at 276 E. Napa St., phone 938-4626, ext. 1, or visit the Sonoma Valley Box Office at www.sonomacommunitycenter.org.
