Home winemakers to celebrate Sunday

The seventh annual Sonoma Home Winemakers Celebration will be held in the back patio of the Swiss Hotel on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 3 to 6 p.m.

  This annual event raises funds for the Sonoma High School Boosters, who support sports, arts and other extra curricular activities at the Sonoma Valley High School.

  Last year, the event and silent auction raised almost $20,000. More than 30 home winemakers will be pouring a wide selection of hand crafted wines including some unusual varietals.

  Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
