Home winemakers sought for competition

  Home winemakers, prepare to show what you can do. The Sonoma Home Winemakers is searching for entries for a wine contest, which must be submitted by Saturday, March 10, at the Valley Wine Shack, 525 W. Napa St., Sonoma.

  All entrants will receive written feedback from the panel of professional judges. Results will be announced at the gala Awards Banquet Dinner on April 19 at Vintage House senior center in Sonoma, and later posted on the SHW website.

  Entry forms can be found on the SHW website at www.sonomahomewine.com or at the Wine Shack.

  There is an entry fee of $10 a bottle.

Tickets to the banquet dinner are $30 a person. Make checks payable to Sonoma Home Winemakers and include that with your wine submission.
