Home Winemakers set awards banquet

The Sonoma Home Winemakers Awards Banquet will be held Thursday, April 19, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Vintage House senior center.

 The evening celebrates the accomplishments of the Sonoma Valley’s home winemakers. This year, the guest of honor will be Jean Arnold Sessions, CEO of the Jean Arnold Group.

 The banquet allows winemakers and guests not only to sample the award-winning wines but enjoy a sumptuous dinner prepared by Executive Chef Rich Treglia assisted by students from Sonoma Valley Teen Services Lovin’ Oven project. Treglia is the former owner of the Garden Court Cafe and now executive chef at the San Geronimo Golf Course.

 There will also be live entertainment. Proceeds benefit many of the community causes supported by the Sonoma Home Winemakers.
