Hello, Mr. President

Sonoma resident and Index-Tribune photographer James Fanucchi was one of a handful of media photographers invited onto the tarmac to capture President Barack Obama’s arrival at SFO on Monday. As a journalism student at City College of San Francisco, Fanucchi said the opportunity arose after his newspaper instructor Juan Gonzales, a former Associated Press general assignment reporter, connected him with the media relations department at the White House.
