Grace Filipello

Grace Filipello passed away in San Rafael, on June 25, 2012, at the age of 92.

  She was the dearly beloved aunt and friend to many who knew her.

  She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

  Grace was preceded in death by her siblings, Maureen Perazzo, Thomas O’Connor and Robert O’Connor; and former husband, John Filipello.

  During her early years, Grace lived in Sonoma where she was active in many volunteer organizations and was the proprietor of her own beauty shop. In 1963, she married John Filipello and worked with him in establishing successful antique businesses in Boyes Springs, San Rafael and San Francisco. Grace will be remembered for her independent spirit, generosity, zest for life, and devotion to family.

  Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass on Saturday, July 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Nazareth House Chapel, 245 Nova Albion Way, San Rafael, CA 94903.

  Private inurnment St Francis Cemetery, Sonoma.

  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
