Gorin will best protect environment

  Let us fast-forward a generation and then look back at the choices we made in this local election. I want to have elected the person who will protect Sonoma’s open space, wildlife corridors, scenic roads and vistas.

  Which of the candidates running for 1st District Supervisor is the environmentalist?

  John Sawyer got a ‘D’ from Sonoma County Conservation Action for his voting record on the Santa Rosa City Council. And he accepted a $10,000 campaign contribution from a California Real Estate Political Action Committee (PAC). I don’t believe that PAC cares about the environment of Sonoma County.

  Susan Gorin is supported by the Sierra club and got an “A” for her Council voting record from Conservation Action.

  I am voting for Susan Gorin.
