Gorin best choice says Windsor mayor
Editor, Index-Tribune:
The Sonoma Valley has always been my second home. My grandmother, Olive Thatcher, lived on East MacArthur Street for 55 years in the little house between Prestwood Elementary and the cemetery. As kids, we played at the school and cemetery and went to the Mission more times than I can count.
A month ago I was walking precincts in Sonoma with Susan Gorin, and we ran into high school friends of my Mom’s – and we found that they were already voting for Susan for county supervisor. They know Susan is the neighborhood advocate, and they know she has a long track record of proactively gathering groups of people to solve community wide issues.
I’m friends with Susan, John Sawyer and also Mark Bramfitt. I managed Mark’s campaign and walked nearly every street of the Valley with him. My grandmother was always concerned about the future of the Valley and wanted to see it protected as she first found it in 1942. I am firmly convinced that Susan is the best choice for supervisor for my second home.
