Gerald A. Lee
Gerald A. Lee
Gerald A. Lee was born on March 5, 1926, in California and peacefully passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, after an injury sustained from a fall.
He lived in Sonoma for more than 35 years. He was a member of the Sonoma Valley Grange (also served as Grangemaster for 10 years), Moose Club and Black Point Hunting Club. He worked in the plumbing industry for more than 40 years and served his country in the United States Navy.
He enjoyed upland hunting and liked to travel on many adventures with family and friends. He was also a devoted member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Sonoma Valley. He will be deeply missed by those who were able to share time with him over the years. His wish would be that we not mourn him, but to remember the memories you had with him to bridge the gap until we see him again.
He is survived by his daughters-in-law, Ann Lee, of San Jose; and Susan Lee, of Napa; and grandchildren, Aaron Lee (Cathy), of Pleasanton, Michael Lee (Samantha), of Millbrae, Melissa Benaroya (Russell), of Seattle, Megan Lee, of San Jose; as well as great-grandchildren, Tanner and Delaney Lee (Aaron), and Shane and Maya Benaroya (Melissa). He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends whom he considered family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Lee; and sons, David and Randall Lee.
To honor Gerald’s request there will be no funeral or memorial services. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in Gerald Lee’s name at Sonoma Valley Grange 18627 Sonoma Highway, Boyes Hot Springs, CA 95416 or please feel free to donate to a charity of your choice in his memory.
