Fed up with thievery

Sep 10, 2012 - 05:00 PM

Editor, Index-Tribune:

I would like to be out in our carport some night with a bull whip and snap it around the thieves’ necks who come here to steal from seniors. Many years ago, I taught our turkey gobbler a lesson that he never forgot. He never chased me again.

Recently it was catalytic converter from a Toyota pickup truck on the streets of Sonoma. A lady parked across from me had both of the back wheels of her car stolen last week; a week before that I had a hubcap stolen. But in all, I have now had three car covers stolen, a license plate, my trunk broken into and now a hubcap stolen.

Enough is enough. I am angry.

It appears to me, certain people working in certain professions know what kind of cars are parked here and then advise their thieving friends where they can obtain what they need.

Sonoma used to be a great town to live in if we could just eliminate the thieves.
