Exhilarating entertainment
Editor, Index-Tribune:
“All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances ...”
And, on the intimate stage of the Sonoma Valley High School’s Little Theatre, the Sonoma Valley Shakespeare Company has made its entrance into our community. Led by its artistic director, Sonoma native Aidan O’Reilly, the core of this troupe (formerly known as The Renegade Players) consists of extremely talented and creative young actors, singers and musicians. The way they bring the Bard’s words to life is truly magical and engrossing.
So, if comedy is your preference, see their production of “As You Like It.” Or, if political intrigue is your cup of tea, then “Julius Caesar” is the show for you. And, if a man selling his soul to the devil fascinates you, the troupe’s production of Marlowe’s, “Doctor Faustus,” opens on Oct. 12 with a preview performance on Oct. 11.
For a memorable experience, hie thee to the Little Theatre as quickly as thou canst for an evening (or afternoon) of tour-de-force acting and exhilarating entertainment. Show times and dates can be found on the company’s Facebook page.
