Coming off their stirring offensive performance, which produced a homecoming victory and their first Sonoma County League win, the Sonoma Valley High School varsity football boys team hit the SCL road for a 7:30 p.m. showdown with longtime rival Healdsburg at Recreation Field.
Last Friday night, the Dragons defeated visiting Piner 47-26 to improve even both their overall and SCL records at 3-3 and 1-1, respectively, while Healdsburg dropped to 3-4 and 1-2 after being crushed 63-14 by undefeated first-place Analy, which earlier beat Sonoma 63-20.
