One Sonoma Valley High School team continues Sonoma County League play, while two other Dragon teams begin their SCL season, and two other Sonoma squads keep their league action afloat on Wednesday.
The Dragons’ water polo boys’ and girls’ teams are hosting Ukiah in Redwood Empire League matches, as well as their REL home openers, starting at 4 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Sonoma Aquatic Center.
Sonoma’s water polo squads will host one more pair of REL matches at the Sonoma Aquatic Club pool on Wednesday, Oct. 10, with the action also beginning at 4 p.m.

The defending co-champion Sonoma cross country boys’ team, along with the cross country Lady Dragons, will kick off their SCL season against Piner and host Analy at the Ragle Ranch course in Sebastopol tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 3.
Sonoma runners will then host longtime league rival Petaluma on Wednesday, Oct. 10, on the Maxwell Farms Regional Park course.

The soccer Lady Dragons will host Piner in a 7 p.m. SCL match tomorrow night, Oct. 3, under the Arnold Field lights, with the junior varsity playing at 5.
Sonoma’s soccer girls will then host longtime league rival Analy at 4 p.m. this Friday, Oct. 5, at the high school field.
