Dragon boys lose opener

Sonoma’s Trevor Welch grabs a rebound in Saturday night’s opening game against Ukiah. Ukiah jumped out to an early lead and were never headed as the Wildcats beat the Dragons 67-457. The Dragons were led by Jesse Summers’ 18 points while Vince Bruton chipped in with 10 points and eight rebounds. The Dragons host Albany Tuesday. The JVs start at 6 and the varsity tips off at 7:30 p.m.
