Deposit mail-in ballots this weekend
Voters with mail-in ballots for the Nov. 6 general election can deposit their ballots at the Community Meeting Room this weekend.
The Registrar of Voters will accept mail-in ballots from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, and Sunday, Nov. 4 at the Community Meeting Room, 177 First St. W. in Sonoma.
Mail-in ballots must be received by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6. Because postmarks are not accepted, the Registrar of Voters discourages voters from mailing their ballots after Oct. 31.
The Community Meeting Room is one of 10 locations around the county where mail-in ballots can be dropped off.
Ballots can also be dropped off at any polling place by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6. Ballots that arrive after 8 p.m. on Nov. 6 will be too late and will not be counted.
For more information, contact the Registrar of Voters at 565-6800.
