Dennis James Baker

Dennis James Baker, longtime 49er fan and sports enthusiast, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, Oct. 14, 2012.

  His hugs will be missed by all that knew him. He brought joy with his mischievous smile and quirky sense of humor. Dennis was always happiest behind the wheel, just to be going. The journey for him was the objective, the destination was irrelevant. Dennis’ generous heart was given proudly to his wife of 30 years; his two children; grandchild; brothers; sisters-in-law; out-laws and more extended family that he ever believed possible, with a heart big enough to hold us all.

  Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday at Santa Rosa Mortuary Eggen and Lance Chapel, 1540 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m., Sonoma Avenue Church of Christ, Santa Rosa.

  Interment will follow at Shiloh District Cemetery, Windsor.
