CornerStone plans special events every Thursday
CornerStone Sonoma is giving back with a $15,000 special events package, to be awarded to whichever Valley nonprofit gets the most votes by Dec. 20. Voting takes place every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. during special events at a variety of CornerStone businesses.
This Thursday, Dec. 6, visitors can vote for their charity of choice while perusing the range of activities offered throughout the garden setting. Interior designer Wendy Owens will discuss the centuries-old technique of felting at Artefact Design and Salvage; John Denning will host an artists’ talk at the John Denning Studio and Gallery; Tom Rusert will discuss the Christmas Bird Count at Potter Green and Co.; A New Leaf Gallery will host jewelry artist Emiko Oye; Tesoro Flowers will demonstrate crafting holiday ornaments; Christmas karaoke can be heard at Zipper; will Meadowcroft, Park 121 Grill, County by Eurasian Interiors and Keating Wines will offer discounts on products, wine and dinners.
Activities will take place every Thursday through Dec. 20, which is the only time supporters can vote for the nonprofit prize giveaway.
