Christopher (Chris) Kiernan

July 1, 1968-April 16, 2012

 

  Chris is survived by his wife Stefanie of 10 years; children, Dillon (9), Catherine (7) and Julia (2); mother, Kathleen; brothers, Jeff and Greg; sister, Su McMillan (Mac); nieces and nephews and many cousins.

  He is preceded in death by his father, Don.

  Chris was born in San Francisco, was raised in Sonoma Valley and, most recently, lived in Santa Rosa.

  He most enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered for his fun-loving spirit, ever-present smile and love of a good political debate. He was a great dad who took pleasure in coaching his kid’s soccer and baseball teams. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

  In keeping with his generous spirit, Chris’ organs were donated and saved the lives of four individuals.

  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass at St. Francis Solano Church, West Napa and Third Street West, Sonoma at 11 a.m. Friday May 18, 2012.

  A “Kiernan Children Trust Fund” has been set up at Bank of the West.
