Celebration of Women luncheon May 18

The Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation will be honoring two exceptional individuals for their long-standing dedication and leadership through their volunteerism, community involvement and philanthropy on Friday, May 18, at the Old Bags Luncheon in Celebration of Women.

  The event will begin with the Old Bags silent auction, where guests will have the opportunity to bid on designer purses; some new and others previously loved, donated by local philanthropists.

  Following the auction will be the Celebration of Women luncheon recognizing Patricia A. England and Valerie Pistole for the significant impact they have had throughout the community. Both recipients have been active supporters of a variety of nonprofit organizations and join the ranks of Sonoma's dedicated civic leaders who have received this honor.

  Kathy Kennett and Sharen Papich are co-chairs and Marcy Smothers will serve as honorary chair.

  The Old Bags Luncheon in Celebration of Women will be held at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa. Tickets to the luncheon are $100 and are on sale now by calling 935-5077 or by visiting www.svh.com/foundation.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation.
