Catherine Young opens Glen Ellen therapy practice

Catherine Young, a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified hypnotherapist with more than 16 years of experience as a therapist has opened her new private practice in Glen Ellen at 13606 Arnold Drive, Suite 7.
She works with works with children, adults and teen girls, and has experience in private practice as well as private and public agencies in both Sonoma and Mendocino Counties.  She has recently settled in the Valley of the Moon, and plans to make this her home for many years to come. 

Having had extensive training in a number of different therapeutic techniques working on a wide range of issues she is able to customize therapy for each person.  She added that believes that there are many paths to healing and growth, and works with each person to find the most effective path for him or her.
She served for two years as a mental health consultant to the Lake and Mendocino County Head Start programs, has worked extensively as a child therapist and working with young children, preschool to age 12, is one of her specialties
