Carol Anne Trueblood (Drolla)

An angel departed this earth when Carol Anne Trueblood passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 11, 2012, with family and friends at her side. She was born in San Francisco on Nov. 21, 1951, and was a 24-year resident of Sonoma.
  Carol was a kind and loving person, generous with her smile and her time. Always quick to lend a helping hand or a sympathetic ear, she was a good friend to many.
  Her career spanned 30 years in the banking industry with First Interstate Bank, Bank of America, and Bank of Marin; as well as Rafael Florist, the family’s business in San Rafael.
  She is survived by her husband, John Trueblood; stepdaughters, Danielle Trueblood Hofing (Eric) and Cielo Trueblood Froome (Matt); granddaughters, Amelia and Isobel; and her sister, Marilyn Drolla. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Drolla; her mother, Helen; sister, Margaret Jones. Her brother, Robert Drolla, passed away on Nov. 15, 2012.
  When you look toward the evening sky, bow your head in gratitude toward the bright star shining Carol’s grace upon you.
At her request, there will be no formal service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations in Carol’s name can be made to Hospice By The Bay and Pets Lifeline in Sonoma.
