Book sale to start Wednesday

The Friends of the Sonoma Valley Library book sale starts Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m., but is only open to members until 3:30 p.m. The sale opens to everyone from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., and continues Thursday and Friday, Nov. 15 and 16, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hours on Saturday, Nov. 17, are from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

  Sonoma Valley students enrolled in grades preschool through 12th grade may select one free book at any time. Videos, CDs, books on tape and DVDs are also available. No item in the sale costs more than $2.

  For more information, call Dave Dobbins at 996-3072. Donations can be dropped off in the shed behind the library at any time. For help getting books to the library, call Wayne Schake at 938-9248.

The Sonoma Valley Regional Library is located at 755 W. Napa St.
