Book sale brings in $10K

Janice Crow of Sonoma looks over a book during the quarterly Friends of the Sonoma Library book sale last weekend, which raised $10,400. The funds raised by the sales stay in the Valley and help support the Sonoma Valley Regional Library. The group is always accepting new donations for its next sale, which takes place Feb. 7 to 9. For more information, call Dave Dobbins at 996-3072. Donations can be dropped off in the shed behind the library at any time. For help getting books to the library, call Wayne Schake at 938-9248.
