Bless the animals

Eleven-year-old Maddie Welsome’s hamster, Sally, was one of the many animals that gathered in the St. Francis schoolyard to be blessed by Father Mike Kelly recently on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals, the environment and of Italy.
