Becky Elster new manager at Exchange Bank Sonoma branch

John Matli, vice president and manager of the Sonoma branch of Exchange Bank, has been promoted to branch manager of its headquarters branch in Santa Rosa.
Becky Elster who has served as the bank's vice president and Sonoma business services manager for the past year and a half has been promoted to Sonoma branch manager.
Matli has been with Exchange Bank since 2002, and has led the Sonoma Valley branch since 2004.
Elster, a longtime Glen Ellen resident, is a 1988 graduate of Sonoma Valley High School. From there she began her 23-year banking career. She was with Sonoma Valley Bank before joining Exchange Bank in the fall of 2010. She is also a graduate of California Bankers Association Commercial Lending School
Both promotions were effective as of Monday, March 13.
Catherine Harrison, the bank's premier banking officer, who recently celebrated her 34th anniversary with Exchange bank and was one of its original staff members when it opened in Sonoma in March of 1979, announced her retirement recently.
Cherie Chipman, personal banker for the Sonoma branch, will take over Harrison's position.
