Barbara Alice Harder, 83, of Sonoma died Aug. 15, 2012, in Sonoma. She was a former member of the Sonoma Women’s Golf Club, a homemaker who loved entertaining friends in Sonoma and at Lake Berryessa with her (late) husband, Ib Harder. She was a 70-year resident of Sonoma and a native of Sherman, Texas. She was always very proud of the fact that she was related to the late great Sam Houston.
Barbara was the wife of the late, William Chamberlain, Jack Price and Ib Harder; and daughter of the late Dorothy and Forrest Dunham.
She was the loving mother of Christian Harder, of Sonoma; mother-in-law of Trina Harder; and idolized grandmother of Drew Christian Harder.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Barbara’s life at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, on the Swiss Hotel patio, 18 W. Spain St., Sonoma, CA 95476.
