While he is about to make his final choice on the ABC hit series “The Bachelor,” Sonoma native Ben Flajnik will also use his newfound popularity to support Becoming Independent during an event at the Sunflower Caffé on Friday, March 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Flajnik, along with his partners at Envolve Winery, Mike Benziger and Danny Fay, will be at the caffe, pouring samples of their award winning wines and collecting donations for Becoming Independent, the North Bay’s largest nonprofit human services organization dedicated to people with developmental disabilities. There will also be wine specials and a raffle.
There is no charge to attend, and all are welcome.
The Sunflower Caffé is located at 421 First St. W., Sonoma.

Love the Sunflower Cafe! We visited in September and enjoyed the patio and some great wines. Bought a bottle of Evolve~we will open it at the close of the Bachlor. Good luck to you with this most important cause!
Peace,
Laura~
