Art sought for Vintage Festival

The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival is again hosting its annual poster contest, which is open to all Valley artists. The deadline to submit work is June 20.

  Every year, the festival posters have reflected outstanding artistry and have been a favorite throughout the history of the festival. It is a unique opportunity to let their work be seen by thousands of visitors attending the Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival.

  First prize for winner will receive a $500 cash honorarium and the selected artist is also invited to ride in the Vintage Festival parade if they desire. Second prize winner will receive 50 percent off one art booth space during the festival. All submissions must be original art. This can include computer graphics/photography but it must be original one-of-a-kind.

  The winner will be notified June 22.
