Art show, sale to aid Hooker House
The Gen. Joseph Hooker house has announced a new art show and sale, set to open Saturday, Dec. 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. There is no charge to attend.
Shirley Roberts, a well-known artist in the Sonoma area, will show her paintings through Jan. 15. She will be donating all proceeds from the sale of her paintings to the Hooker house during that period.
Roberts lives on the Hooker ranch in Agua Caliente. Her grandfather, Jean Pierre Serres, took over the ranch in 1925.
The museum is open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 1 to 4 p.m.
