Anna Mae (Penny) Stallings
Anna Mae (Penny) Stallings slipped away gracefully and peacefully on Feb. 1, 2012, just past midnight. She was born Anna Mae Lohman on June 21, 1925.
She had a wonderful life full of excitement, music, friendship and love. It was not without the hardships and turmoil, but she always took the high road and looked at life with a glass three-quarters full.
She has followed her loving husband, Ron Stallings, to a place where there is no pain and there is always music and laughter.
She is survived by her four children, Bill Stallings, of Sonoma, Rhonda Stallings (husband, Rich Lee), of Sonoma, Tim Stallings (wife, Eddy Stallings), of Springfield, Va., and Lori Marks (husband, Jeff Marks), of Tampa, Fla.; her grandchildren, Abbey and Michael Lee, of Sonoma, Matthew, Brett and Andy Stallings, of Springfield, Va., Candice Mismas (husband, John Mismas), of Willoughby, Ohio, and Sarah and Ronald Marks, of Tampa, Fla.
She was lovers of all dogs and has left behind her canine companions, Roswell and Taxi.
The service will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family asked that a donation may be made to SVDOG, (svdog.org), Pets Lifeline, (petslifeline.org) or Hospice By The Bay (hospicebytheby.org).
