Altimira’s Horticultre class is now providing organic greens to be put in hot lunch for the students. This will encourage the students to eat healthier meals as well as to work harder in the garden to supply good food for their peers. Four Altimira students went to Friends In Sonoma Helping (FISH) on Oct. 4, to donate their salad greens, tomatoes, tomatillas, and Easter radishes. The students, who were all excited to help their community, were (from left) Leonard Inigliez, 11, Trevor Smith, garden coordinator, Elizabeth Gomez, 12, Hailey Anguiano, 12, Annette Lee, 11.
