Adult round robin tennis Friday, BGCSV hoops referees

SONOMA VALLEY TENNIS Association will hold a Friday Post-Thanksgiving Afternoon Round Robin event at the Maxwell Farms Regional Park courts this Friday, Nov. 23, with warmups starting at 2, and play beginning promptly at 2:15 p.m. Cost is free to SVTA members and $10 for nonmembers, with the player limit being the first 20 registering. The SVTA’s final free program session for beginners and returning players takes place from 3 to 4 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Maxwell Farms courts. No registration is required. BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS of Sonoma Valley need referees for their basketball leagues for boys and girls in third-through-eighth grades. Experience is preferred, and so are adult refs, but training is available and high school students are welcome to inquire. Referees are paid for each game.
