AAUW host fiber artists

On Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m., the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will host a team from the Sonoma Spinners who will demonstrate their spinning and knitting skills. 

 Members of the audience will be invited to try their hand at spinning wool and feel sixteen different sheep-breed fibers. AAUW member and quilter Karen Taylor will set up a quilting table. Creative fiber artistry will be on display; yarn supplies and snuggly handmade items will be on sale.

Refreshments will be provided. 

The public is invited to attend the event, which will take place at Buttrum Hall, Trinity Episcopal Church, 275 E. Spain St., Sonoma.
