4-H flapjack feed set for Sunday
It’s once again time for the 4-H Flapjack Feed, set for Sunday, May 20, from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Schell-Vista Fire Station.
The Sonoma Valley 4-H Club will be cooking up and serving light and fluffy flapjacks (aka pancakes), sausage, fruit, milk, juice and coffee.
The prices are $6 a ticket pre-sale and $7 a ticket the day of the event (the breakfast is free for kids 3 and under). Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at Broadway Market, the Epicurean Connection and Larson Family Winery.
There will be a silent auction with items donated and created by the 4-H members, as well as items from local businesses. There will also be activities for the kids, as well as plant starts for sale.
Sonoma Valley 4-H is the largest club in Sonoma County with more than 100 members ranging in ages from 5 to 19 years old. This is the club’s main fundraiser and it is an opportunity to learn what 4-H is all about.
