Young LisRobin horseriders show well at Skyline Park

In their third schooling show of the 2011 season, the Valley's LisRobin Horse Farm's equestrian team - under the direction of Sonoma horse-riding teacher Tiana Wells - took home 16 overall top-five awards, including four first- and four second-place ribbons.
After two energetic efforts at the Napa Valley Equestrian Center and Miwok schooling shows, the young LisRobin horse-riders participated in the Skyline Wilderness Park Schooling Show.
The LisRobin team was led by Eva Bundschu, who rode Acorn (owned by Heamar Horses) to a pair of first-place finishes in walk/trot and walk/trot equitation for 10-years-old-and-under.
Natalie Sandoval, atop Captain Midnight (Katherine Culligan), claimed first-place in lead line 7-and-under and third in horsemanship 9-and-under.
Sierra Sowinski, also riding Acorn, captured first-place in horsemanship 9-and-under and fourth in lead line 7-and-under.
Gabriella Lee also rode Captain Midnight and achieved second-place finishes in walk/trot 10-and-under and walk/trot equitation 10-and-under.
Ava Dominguez, atop Panda (Tiana Wells), earned second-place in horsemanship 9-and-under and third in lead line 7-and-under.
Sarah McGrath, riding Freckles (Wells), took home a second-place in lead line 7-and-under and fourth in horsemanship 9-and-under.
Maya Boone also rode Captain
Midnight and had a third-place finish in walk/trot novice and fourth in walk/trot 11-to-17.
Shannon Stark, atop Paiute (Heamar Horses), had a fourth-place finish in walk/trot novice and was fifth in walk/trot 11-to-17.
