Why not ban all plastic?
Editor, Index-Tribune:
If I understand your "plastic bag ban" article correctly (Index-Tribune, Aug. 19), as usual, the real problem is not the plastic bags, per se, but is, in fact, the inconsiderate people who don't know how to recycle plastic bags, or don't care enough about the environmental impact that improperly disposing of waste has on the environment as a whole.
How about banning plastic wrappers, plastic toys, in fact, plastic credit cards too. Let's ban anything made of plastic because the human race can't think far enough into the future to be accountable for their inconsiderate behavior, in many ways.
