What's open/closed 4th of July

 

Monday is July 4, Independence Day, and that means just about all government offices and agencies will be closed.

Sonoma County offices in Santa Rosa are closed. All offices at the City of Sonoma are closed.

Sonoma County Transit will not be running any busses.

There will be no garbage pickup by either the Sonoma Garbage Collector in the city or Redwood Empire Disposal in the county. All delivery days are pushed back a day this week. So if your pickup day was supposed to be Monday, it will be Tuesday instead. Tuesday pickups will be Wednesday and so on.

The Sonoma Valley Regional Library will be closed, as will the offices of the Valley of the Moon Water District.

There will be no mail delivery.

Banks are closed.

The offices of the Sonoma Index-Tribune will be closed.
