Wasting funds on crosswalk

Editor, Index-Tribune:

I would like to find out what the City of Sonoma was thinking, wasting money on the crosswalk on Napa Street in front of St. Francis.

I estimate it has been there for at least five years. Of that time, I think it has operated about 15 days.

I could understand it being broken if Sonoma had hundreds of crosswalk crossings to maintain, but really, 15 days? Get yourselves in touch with what is really important in our town. Children and seniors lives are at risk for no reasons.
